Spring Fever

After receiving a foot of snow and some good rain, I'm ready for green grass and leaves on the trees! The moisture is great and I'm thankful that the timing worked out with our TX swap weekends. Although my second tournament was snowed out again, there is hope that we'll start our season May 2nd - fingers crossed! A few photos snapped on Friday night.

But just as fast as the snow and rain fell, it will be gone with temps in the 60s and 70s all week. Gotta love Colorado!

The preparations for Jeremy's golf weekend (CCC '09) are almost done. I'm getting the house ready this week before I leave for Dallas to visit dear Katy. As long as Jeremy can tackle the exterior, I'll have the inside ready for our guests from TX and all of their gear. Having this many guests is a treat since the only official guests we've had are Bec, Katy and Jeremy's dad. As part of this marathon spring cleaning I've been tackling since March, I've redecorated a few rooms. I'll post those images at another date. In the meantime, here are the beautiful flowers my dear Jeremy surprised me with for Easter. (Love the green bunny from Pier One.)

Opening Day

Now its official. Spring is here and the Rockies are once again my neighbors. Opening Day is in full swing and has LoDo packed. We had a great BBQ here at the office for some clients who then made their way to Coors Field. While I didn't go to the game I did see the best part of the ceremonies - the fly-over and fireworks! Here's hoping the optimism around the neighborhood holds thru the season and they have some success.

Pilates

I went to my first Pilates Reformer class tonight and can tell its addicting. The first class was an introduction but gave me enough of a workout that I'll be feeling it tomorrow. Can't wait to take the full class starting next week!

And so it begins...

Since the first week of April is my favorite of the year, it seems like as good a time as any to start this blog. What's not to love about this week? All good things happening this week:
  • NCAA Men's Basketball Championship
  • Masters Week
  • Rockies Opening Day
  • Easter Sunday (AKA Masters Sunday at Amen Corner)

I'll be thrilled if the Easter Bunny pays us a visit this week and leaves us a basket! On second thought, screw the basket, I want the GE Profile Double Oven!

P.S. A big congratulations to Mom for winning the Lang Cup a third time! She really does have basketball in her blood!
